On discovering the location of a new historic residence in the Macarthur region of New South Wales available to photographers, Kelvin Homestead in Bringelly, I contacted Kelsey with a view of a shoot there.
I was impressed with images taken of her at another historic site, The Australiana Pioneer Village at Wilberforce. Kelsey seemed the ideal model for this location. As it turned out - she was!
Kelvin Homestead was built around 1820, making it one of the oldest and finest examples of colonial settlements in Australia. It is of historic interest that it is from the old gaol on the property that the bushranger, Wild Colonial Boy Jack Donahue, escaped in 1828.
