Despite her age Abbey, who lives in the Blue Mountains region west of Sydney, has been creating art for as long as she could remember.
She began with traditional methods such as drawing and painting and later moved to specialise in oils and watercolours. In her late teens, Abbey started modeling for artists and photographers. This led her to the natural and exciting transition of bodypainting. Around the same time she immersed herself further in photography and life behind the lens.
Abbey is one of the most noted models in the Sydney region. For me, she was the first model I photographed nude and her professional manner certainly calmed my initial fears in photographing someone nude.
